How to clean stone and paving after construction

Construction work can leave cement residue or white salt deposits on mineral surfaces. These call for different treatments: identify the contamination first, then select a cleaner compatible with the substrate and read its instructions.

1. Identify the problem

The catalogue includes PROSEPT CEMENT CLEANER for cement residues and PROSEPT SALT CLEANER for efflorescence. If the stain’s origin is unclear, do not select a product from a photo alone: tell a consultant what the surface is and how the stain appeared.

2. Check the surface

Mineral substrates vary in composition and sensitivity to cleaners. Before treating the whole surface, read the label restrictions and test in an inconspicuous area. Do not mix chemical products.

3. Plan your purchase

Allow for the area, degree of soiling, dilution and application method specified in the instructions. A per-area consumption rate cannot be inferred reliably from the canister size alone. The universal calculator provides an estimate once you enter the rate for your task.

Products for this task

CEMENT CLEANER →

Acidic concentrate for removing cement residue after construction. Dilution depends on the task; check the instructions and substrate compatibility.

SALT CLEANER →

1:2 concentrate for removing efflorescence from mineral surfaces. Test on a small area before use.

EXTRA+ →

Strong-acid post-construction cleaning concentrate for cement, lime, grout, salt deposits, scale and rust runs. 5 L.

Check material compatibility, dilution and application method against the specific product instructions. Test on a small area before treating the entire surface.
