Water repellent comparison for stone and paving

These five products serve different purposes. Choose your material and desired finish first, then estimate working-solution volume from the number of coats and a test application.

How to find the actual rate

Clean and dry a representative test area. Account for porosity, application method and coat count. Measure the working solution used over a known area. For concentrates, convert the measured solution into product volume using the dilution ratio.

02 / EXAMPLE

Example for 20 m²

  • AQUAISOL: 6–10 L working solution for two passes → 2–3.33 L concentrate at 1:2.
  • ТИПРОМ К: 3–6 L working solution → 0.75–1.5 L concentrate at 1:3.
  • WESTON: two coats theoretically need 20 × 2 ÷ 7 ≈ 5.7 L to 20 × 2 ÷ 6 ≈ 6.7 L, before application losses.

The WESTON product-page headline “9 L = 50–60 m²” is close to one-coat coverage. The instructions call for at least two coats at 1 L per 6–7 m² per coat. Plan purchases from the coat count and a test patch.

All rates are indicative. Test compatibility and appearance on a small area before treating the full surface, and follow the instructions for your specific batch.
